Organizational method & Procrastination


My current organizational method is that after cross-country practice, I would take a shower and eat a snack. After I feel clean and satisfied, I would study for any test and work on any homework I have this week. So far it hasn't been working due to the fact that I would take a nap after my snack and shower. When this would happen, I usually go to bed around 12:00 am. I think procrastinating hurts people a lot because they wouldn't get a lot of things down. In school, their grades would go down because you are trying to do your homework at the last minute. I can stop procrastinating by turning off my phone so I won't get distracted. Also, I need to do my homework at the table instead of in my bed because I would fall asleep.

  1. Try writing things down so you don't forget what you need to do. I agree with you to start doing homework at the table. I always get my homework done faster that way!

  2. Maybe you could start using a planner. I do agree that the phone can be distracting and keep you from doing your work. Also, you could try not to take a nap and get your work done first so you can get more sleep at night.

  3. A good organization method might be writing things down somewhere. Maybe in a planner or in the notes on your phone to make sure you don't forget to do something. It might help you by giving you something to refer to just in case!

  4. I agree i often do the same, after basketball I tend to go home eat shower then sleep. It hurts me in school.

  5. Yeah, you should start doing it at the table if that keeps you awake haha. Maybe you should keep a planner or set reminders on your phone for homework and other things. Keep up the great work!

  7. I have fallen asleep doing homework on my bed before too, it is definitely better to do it at a desk. I also get distracted with my phone very easily as well so turning it off is also a very good idea.

  8. Afterschool naps are really fun! But you must know how to be responsible and wake up to finish important stuff!
